Garry A. Pistoria, President
After attending Montana State University and the College of Great Falls, where he majored in Business and Economics, Garry Pistoria started his career with the Cenex/Harvest States corporation. During his thirty-eight years with Cenex/Harvest States, he has directed the Export Division in Portland, Oregon, coordinating trades with Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, and other Asian countries. In corporate offices in St. Paul, Minnesota, he oversaw the domestic and world sales of wheat merchandising and managed world-wide grain sales. Most recently, he was president of Amber Milling Company, the four milling operations of Cenex/Harvest States until his retirement in 1999.
Nancy Jardon, Treasurer
Nancy Jardon is a lifelong animal lover whose household has included dogs, rabbits, rats, horses and aquariums. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Redlands in California and worked as a Finance Manager for McDonnell Douglas before moving to Montana in 1991 and starting her own accounting business. While raising her two children and home-schooling them, the family traveled all over the world visiting nearly 60 countries. She enjoys being with her family, reading, and doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles.
Debbe Pistoria, Operations Manager
Debbe Pistoria graduated from the school of hard knocks and grew up as a child of the 60's with beehive hair. She had a wonderful 30-year career as an event planner before retiring. Debbe's heart has always been with the underdog and she loves being in a position to help families struggling to keep their beloved pets. Pad for Paws is Debbe's passion and she loves the generous Helena community. Debbe says working with the hard-working, passionate Pad for Paws board of directors is the best!
Nancy Kraft, Secretary
Our dear friend and Board member Nancy Kraft passed away on July 26, 2022. Nancy was a great friend, a true animal lover, and a hard working Board member. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Nancy Kraft was born and raised in Helena and has, pretty much, never left. After attending Montana State University for a year, she started working for the Department of Fish, Wildlife & Parks, and retired 31 years later. Since retiring, Nancy has done volunteer work for the Wildlife Rehab Center (Fish, Wildlife & Parks), the Red Cross, the Montana Historical Society, and Pad for Paws. Nancy and her husband Dave have had animals in their home since they were married and currently have two rescue dogs and two rescue cats. They also have two children–a daughter who lives in Chicago with her husband, and a son who lives in Missoula with his wife and their son. In her spare time, Nancy enjoys reading, working in the yard, and walking their dogs.
